Yeah, it happened to me once at a demo when there was a Euro summit in Amsterdam. We were all arrested, all 200 of us, got tie-rip handcuffs on us, taken to the infamous Bijlmerbajes jail and held there in the gym (well, us guys, they separated us on gender lines). And then released the next day. This is actually 18 years ago already. Some of us sued the city of Amsterdam and got some money, I think it was about 200 guilders.
