I second the need for a sugar skull.
It could be bad, or it could be awesome. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think it is at least recognizing a burgeoning demographic, so I think it will be respectful. At least as respectful as much of the original culture. Calaveras poems and cartoons come to mind. How awesome would that be if they worked that into the plot? The villain reads his own obituary and thinks he is dead while the dead return and confront him about the harm he has done? Prolly too dark for Disney, but that would make a great story. Sort of a Dickens quality to it.
