I've already had H1N1, but my doctor recommended I get the vaccine anyway, if I fall into the risk category (which I don't). That may be good general advice, but I view it as a waste of resources, like taking an anti-biotic for a cold.

A doc was going to give me a tetanus booster for a scrape on my knee, which happened when I fell. I told him, before he actually opened the vials, that it wasn't necessary, since it wasn't a penetrating wound (tetanus is an anaerobic organism).
