Default Funny, weird movie credits

After watching the movie “Jerry Maguire” recently and scanning the credits, I had noticed that there was the usual movie disclaimer about how all the characters are fictional and any resemblance to actual people in real life is purely coincidental.

That did not make sense though for this movie, since it starred many athletes and celebrities appearing as themselves. Has anyone ever noticed this on any other movie where actors/celebrities appear as themselves? Do those include the same contradictory disclaimer?

More importantly---is there anyone I can sue about this?

On a broader topic though…

Does anyone have any particularly favorite and notable movie credits? “Meet the Fockers” with Ben Stiller was good, as was “Hot Shots” with Charlie Sheen (they posted brownie recipes, for instance, between the names). The “Nutty Professor” with Eddie Murphy had good gags and outtakes.

Others?

Brian
