That first article is complete crap, as expected. They left out the most important point, which is that you need to transmit classical bits slower than the speed of light to make quantum teleportation work. It's strongly implied there that you would get really fast internet because of that spooky faster-than-light action at a distance that poor Einstein couldn't believe. No, Einstein was positive and right. There is no such thing. Entanglement isn't faster-than-light communication between particles, it's a correlation and nothing else.
That article is the usual mix of facts, some of them irrelevant, and half-truths, that leaves the reader with completely wrong conclusions.

"Researchers from China set a new distance record for the transmission of entangled photons. It's a factor of 8."
