I don't have money anymore, but I do at least give a 20 to our local volunteer search and rescue team (they are the first responders when people get lost or trapped in the water, as the Coast Guard takes time to get here). I gave time to the Share the Beach turtle nest people. Mostly these days I write letters.
I did think that tree planting thing we did as a whole board was awesome, seems like a lot of bang for the buck. Can't remember the name of it now.
