The latest Conservative talking point seems to be: "It's Liberals who are hateful and uncivil; TRUE Conservatives are never lacking in civility. All those reports of hateful, uncivil behavior on the part of Conservative? That's FAKE NEWS from the lying, Liberal Media and/or Liberals pretending to be Conservatives, in order to give Conservatives a bad name."

One thing I've heard repeatedly is some variation of: "The lying, Liberal Media call us hateful when we're being perfectly rational, civil, and respectful. They call us racists, just because we want to MAGA; they call us fascists just because we complain about the rapists, thieves and murderers who are sneaking over the border and into our country."




Question: "But what about ...?"

Answer: "FAKE NEWS! The lying, Liberal Media are constantly trying to tear down Trump and Conservatives, because they hate America and they want Trump to fail. Trump is an upstanding guy and an inspiration to all True Americans. All those claims about him being racist, sexist, etc. are just lies."


Question: "Really? What about when he was caught on tape bragging about his misogyny? You know, when he talked about 'grabbing them by the pussy'?"

Answer: "MORE proof that the lying, Liberal Media hate Trump and all True Americans! That was just locker room talk. Besides, he's never been convicted of assaulting a woman."



Truly, these people live in a completely different world.
