The Moon orbits the Earth, the Earth Moon system orbits the Sun and they seem to be doing so nicely. The existing system is what is observed and described in the standard model, the flat Earth model doesn't work.

See, you have to claim the moon and earth are one thing to make your model work.
As if the moon is completely immune from the sun, as if there is some force-field around the earth and moon!!
You can't work the model with three bodies. That is the trick they are using on you, claiming two bodies are one body, to make it work.

NASA doesn't seem to have any problem sending a spaceship to other bodies in the solar system, so it seems that someone can work out the multi body problem. Just because you can't comprehend it, doesn't mean that it doesn't work. NASA seems to be able to do the math for a multi object system, so there is no need to reduce it to 2 objects.
