consequence of the key postulate of special relativity: that the speed of light is
invariant in all inertial frames. So the correct scientific position, unlike the one enunciated by the dipshit you quoted, is: time dilates as an inevitable consequence of the fact that the speed of light is invariant in all inertial frames.
This is
easily demonstrated here with a light clock.
