Well, so much for the "regardless" portion. Granted, I haven't read past Wizard and Glass so I don't know anything beyond that about Susannah. But I can't imagine how they could rework her story to give her such a bad-ass bitch personality like Odetta Holmes. She was as frightening as any person or thing Stephen King ever wrote.
One of my favorite exchanges in Drawing of the Three was when Odetta was crawling through the sand to kill Eddie in his sleep. In a perfect one-with-the-universe Zen moment Roland knew he couldn't just pretend to be asleep he had to
be asleep or else Odetta would just
know he was watching her.
