M3D made a splash on the 3D printer market for Kickstarting a cheap, small 3D printer at a consumer price. I bought into the hype, but the results are mixed. I mean, I can sometimes get it to work well, especially if the print is small, but the quality is inconsistent. The best I've gotten from it are the microscope photos of the mistakes.

I mean, I knew it was a cheap 3D printer, so I expected it to be difficult, so I don't feel like I was robbed. It was an OK entry-level 3D printer. However, I haven't used it much recently, partly due to the fact that I get such inconsistent results.

Well, I'm falling for the M3D hype again. They just announced a new 3D printer form, and it's got the features I'd want in a 3D printer, but with a twist! You can get it with a 1, 2, or 4 filament head, and the preorder price is under $350-550.

I bought a dual head model.
