Default Re: This Old House of Ours

We took down our Christmas decorations and stowed them, and we have unpacked more stuff.

Lieutenant Kevin (ES’s mom) came for Christmas which was fun but also draining.

LK helped us set up our kitchen area which was very helpful. (We actually held off unpacking that stuff knowing she would help.)

She helped make a variety of small repairs and bought us chairs for our bar island. We have similar (but lower quality) chairs for our dining table. Love those tacks.

Our LED Xmas tree was made by Govee. I looked them up and found that they make a variety of LED products.

I think of them as being fun apartment decorations as they don’t require intensive installation using double sided tape mostly.

With our tall ceilings, the color really pops.

It’s called Govee Immersion.

We have really been enjoying it.

It does just draw you in. The lights can respond to what’s on the t screen using the camera, there is also a music mode which uses your phone mic to sync light effects to music.

I find it fun for most TV shows but I think it really shines with cartoons and bright, pretty movies.

Scale is hard to tell, but that’s our 65 inch TV. The stand the previous owners left (which is awesome as it’s a great stand)
