Crossing a border can be awful in any direction and there's horror stories going both ways. Often it depends on if the agent decides they don't like your face.

I've mused for half an hour on how to reply to this and not sound like a jerk.
The CBC link above is a good overview of the concerns going around right now, and we'll see in about a week if there's a measurable drive to end all tourism to the US from Canada. In a nutshell, have ever used a substance illegal in the US? "Deemed inadmissible."
