The laptop mostly gets light dty - its 80-90% web browsing, and then sometimes for qick photo processing.

Yes. MacBook and MacBook Air refresh should be on the way soon. MacBook will probably have a lower price point if you want to buy new - if that is less important will be good deals on refurb.
