Resistance IV Game Thread

The 5 members of The Resistance meet in secret to plan a mission against their corrupt and tyrannical government. But the members know that there are two spies among them. Will the Resistance be able to complete three successful missions?

* This thread is always open for discussion.
* No communication is allowed outside the game thread among EITHER team.
* All votes will be PMed to me and then I will reveal the results.

Every resistance member received the following PM:

You are a member of the Resistance. Your mission is to successfully complete 3 missions before the spies sabotage 3 missions.

The mission sizes will be as follows:

Order for the leader's turn will be as follows:

So Kael is the first leader and must choose 2 members to go on the first mission. When you are ready to make an official proposal please put it in BOLD.
Also, if you are on a proposed mission, go ahead and send a "SUCCEED" or "FAIL" decision along with your proposal vote of "YES" or "NO".

Since we don't have much to go on, any pair is as good as another. The only way we get any definitive result is if Kael is a spy and somehow nominates the other spy, and then they both vote fail. That would be stupid though, so I don't think Kael would do that. lol. I love this game.

I voted yes for the current proposal. We need to start somewhere. My guess is that one of these two is actually a spy, but that they will pass the first mission and try and fail the mission when it is a three person mission. Just a thought. I hope I am right.

One thing that's easy about GMing this is the fact that I am using the tables already set up by Crumb in Resistance II...I just need to remember to move it over to the right thread after revising it. :giggle:

Crumb is of the opinion that, since we can vote down four consecutive proposals without losing, that it is best to vote down at least one or two, even if you'd be okay with them, so that you can gather info.

OK, so is there anything to talk about? Since we didn't get even a single fail, which would have been good for discovery purposes, we basically know zip at this point.

Myself and the guy below me, probably. I would have voted yes because I would get a lot of information by going on the mission. But I wasn't on that proposal.

Most people when they first start playing this game vote yes way more than they should. I did, too. Really the default vote should be a no. You should be looking for a reason to vote yes.

btw guys, you don't need to wait for me to make the proposal "official" or anything.
As a matter of fact just consider any proposal made by the current leader in blod to be official.
