How do we do this? I can only find the 'soft delete' option which then leaves an annoying placeholder.

I don't see the point of the soft delete anyhow - is there a way we can reconsider and 'undelete' the messages later? (if so, I can't see that either).

Sorry, I was wrong the place holders are still there in my visitor messages, but I really don't look there very often.
