Default The mysteries of time

What happens to the missing hour when the clocks go forward?

Nothing. The clocks only go forward because we reset them. If there were no clocks, would time disappear?

It does bring up the question of exactly what time is, however. It is commonly referred to as the fourth dimension, which is mathematically convenient; but of course if it is a dimension, it is clearly nothing like the other three - assuming, of course, that the space we live in can be said to have any actual "dimensions" other than those we confer upon it for our own purposes.

Well duh... :duh:

It is placed in the freezer and kept there for half a year until the clocks go backward again. They take it out of the freezer in the afternoon but it is still pretty cold, which is why they slip it in at night.

Not even an ion worth, not even a nothingness, worth, but waking
up in the morning, and you feel your body getting it together, you can almost
hear it crack when sealing together.

That hour magically reappears about six months later.

An angel of the Lord locks it in the Bottomless Pit for six months, after which it is loosed for another six months.

I was about to answer, when a voice came to me from Heaven, saying, "Seal up the words, and write them not."

Since I didn't put my clock forward for a few weeks after everyone else, does that mean I was living 13 hour days?

You've got a bad back, arthritis, you lost an arm, your face is scarred and you have to use a walking stick. You get a chance to go back and miss out on all your adventures and be healthy in later years. And woe be to you if you take that chance.
