Default Banking crisis - Who knew?

PREDICTING THE FINANCIAL CRISIS
Laurie Taylor is joined by Richard Dale, Emeritus Professor of International Banking at Southampton University, one of the very few professional economists who predicted the present crisis (in his book International Banking Deregulation: The Great Banking Experiment).

BBC R4 - Thinking Allowed

Interesting background showing how specious the financiers' and regulators' claim "How were we to know?" really is.

Drinking Re: Banking crisis - Who knew?

Does he actually predict the timing of the crisis? how precisely?
or does he just say "There will eventually be a crisis blah blah blah."

That is a 30 minute audio clip. The first 4 minutes is commercials and fluff. Half way through the clip, for whatever reason, it stopped. The embedded audio player on that BBC site does not offer any fast-forward options so I had to re-play the whole thing from the start. Fuck that. So, I will presume that you listened to it yourself, maybe you can answer my questions.

Sorry about that Sam. I posted the link to the BBC radio programme because I think it is worth a listen. I am surprised the obstacles to your enjoyment of it have proved insurmountable, but if you aren't that concerned if you miss it then neither am I.

Though not too engrossed to take time out to post that self-contradicting comment, it seems? lol
