Plumber was working in the bathroom the other day and now I can't find where I put my toothbrush for safekeeping.

The other day I couldn't decide between riding my bike or sitting on the couch with a drink and watching television.

I like riding my bike. I get exercise and feel better during and after.

I like sitting on the couch with a drink and watching television. I get no exercise and feel better during and after.

Given the amount of mental energy and time I expended debating between them, I must like debating between them as much.

I was overloaded with choices for things I enjoy.

In the end, I compromised and did both. Riding first. Because history has taught me that if I sit on the couch with a drink and watch television, it's over. Nothing else gets done.

I'm sorta feeling guilty for complaining about my hour flight delay out of Houston International airport a couple weeks ago. I think the gas station by the airport where I filled up the rental car is completely submerged now.

Gasoline jumped up 30 cents a gallon because of the hurricane that hit Houston, roughly the same price it was two years ago.

Last week, Li’l Puppet (who is now taller than Mrs Puppet) asked me to pick her up from school. Why? Because her headphones broak and she would’ve had to walk ALL THE WAY HOME WITHOUT MUSIC. :whygod:

From the spot I pick her up to home is all of four blocks.

One of my most original character traits, in case you guys don't know, is that I don't like dealing with customer service. I avoid it whenever possible.

And over the past two days, I have dealt with customer service at:

1. CenturyLink. (CenturyLInk has a policy, I swear and am not joking, of denying outages. The past two times my service has been out long enough that I had to call them, they've straight out lied to me that the problem was on my end. It was not. The first time, in fact, those shitfucks were telling my next door neighbor exactly the same thing, and lying to us both that they hadn't gotten reports of an outage as we were, you know, reporting the outage.)
2. Virgin Mobile.
3. Ting Mobile.
4. FedEx.
5. Amazon.

Hours and hours of it. Yesterday and the day before was wall to wall customer service calls and chats. I was in the middle of an hour long customer service call when the smashed package I had to call FedEx about got here.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SUCK.

Also, yesterday morning, I had leftovers for breakfast and accidentally ate a whole ghost pepper.

It's taken me a week to figure out what format my media must be in for my brandt new car to read and play it. Oh, it's also because my brandt new car does not have a cd player nor an aux jack.

At my first opportunity I will write a very terse statement concerning my displeasure.

This is more like a fourth or fifth world problem, but it got kind of windy today, so our power went out again for a few hours. Because, you know, the air moved, and who can predict something like that might happen?

I hate when someone makes a post on Facebook about a sensitive topic, you respond, they make a cryptic response, and then, when asked for clarification, they ignore you. DAMMIT I WANT TO KNOW IF YOU'RE WORTH UNFRIENDING CAUSE I CAN'T TELL IF THAT WAS A RACIST SHITBAG POST OR IF I MISUNDERSTOOD!

Also there is no other history to suggest racist shitbaggery so I'm guessing I misunderstood.

I keep on losing stuff that I like this week.

I lost a fine tooth comb that I had been carrying around so that I could keep my beard under control during the day, as I'm prone to pull on it while thinking. Then I lost my pen again. It usually falls from my pocket when I'm sitting on the couch, but not always. I usually find it within 24 hours, but I use up a lot of mental effort looking for it.

Losing shit bothers me, like more than it ought to. I mean, the pen wasn't cheap, but the comb wasn't more than a few dollars, and they're both freaking me out the same amount.

I have a spooky one, in keeping with the season.

The other day, it was chilly enough that I decided I could wear my favorite black hoody, which I hadn't had an opportunity to do for many months. So I put it on, and it was just...weirder than I remembered it. The cuffs were kind of strange, the pockets situated oddly, the zipper fussy. It even had a little hole in it.

"Oh, well," I thought to myself, "I suppose absence made my heart grow fonder."

The very next day, I went to put it on again, and IT WAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT HOODY. THIS was my good black hoody, with the nice cuffs, the finished seams, the reliable zipper, the metal aglets, and the secure, accessible pockets!

Everything started to fall into place. Every thing but one.

BUT WHO WAS HOODY?

It was a different hoody, and not TLM's or anything. Sometimes jackets and things get left here, though, probably by ghosts and draculas!

Christmas came early at work. :brooding: It's ridiculous.

I have pumpkin orange skeleton buckets sitting out in the guest lounges & reception filled with candy... but the Company that does our Christmas decorations arrived and threw up Christmas everywhere. Soooooo early.
