I have my first exam - Contracts - in about two hours. It's a 4-hour test, and I am pretty much boned. But I'm strangely at peace with it. A couple months ago I gave up reading stuff for law skewl, so I look forward to seeing how I do. I predict an undeserved B.

Probably half of the questions have "The Statute of Frauds" as an answer, anyway. If your instructor disagrees, just call him on his dishonesty.

Quiz in EM Fields in 8 hours, test in Control Systems 2 hours after that.

I have distilled everything I am supposed to know about constitutional law into 33 pages of outline, 15 pages of charts, and 3 pages of judicial tests in bullet point form, and I'm starting to wish I had read these cases. Anyway, 25 hours before my con law exam and the end of 1Lhood.

Well I feel surprisingly good about my Constitutional law exam. Better than I felt about the Criminal law one, which I think was easier. I feel like I hit most everything I needed to, and I struck down a federal child pornography statute as unconstitutional, so bam.

That is the end of exams

I still haven't heard from admissions. I'm really tempted to call. I am never that person, but I am so tired of waiting. I just want to know how long I should wait before I start worrying. :twiddle:

Tonight at midnight is the deadline to submit an entry for the competition to be on a journal staff next year. I printed out the packet and read all 350 whatever pages and then decided fuck it, I hate this kind of writing, why would I sign up to do more of it than I have to. It isn't always easy embracing my new lack of ambition when it comes to academic things, but it is pretty liberating.

I do not have a grade for spanish yet, which is irritating as hell, cuz I should have an a in that class. the other grades are in.

My finals are tonight and tomorrow night, respectively. As usual I am almost completely unprepared, so I took the day off work to study. I was genuinely sick yesterday, so that helped too.
