Good morning, Stormlight and Pan!
Time for one of my occasional 'on this day' entries... On this day:

- in 1600, Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler met for the first time.
- in 1920, the first flight from London to South Africa took off. It arrived just one-and-a-half months later.
- in 1924, the first Winter Olympic games (Chamonix, France) closed.
- in 1971, the Rolls Royce car company declared itself bankrupt.
- in 1977, Fleetwood Mac released their Rumors album.
- in 1998, Bill Gates got pied in Brussels, Belgium.
