You won't be around for a week? Do you think it'd be good to appoint a backup GM to reveal the roles while you're away? I remember that Megatron has to leave in less than two weeks, and the game probably won't finish in time if we wait several days to start Day 2.

One rule addition (for day/night 1 and day 2):
- If anybody in the game claims a special role, then werewolves may kill 2 persons on the night 1 (The Tick + anyone who claimed a special role)
- If werewolves kill 2 people in night 1, then there will be 2 day lynches on Day 2.
- Werewolves may still choose to kill just me on night 1 even if somebody claimed special. If this happens, then there will be normal 1 lynch on Day 2.
- After Day 2, the game continues normally (one lynch per day, one kill at night)

This is because I'm playing a villager role and I don't want that somebody somehow exploit the fact that "werewolves will kill The Tick" on night 1. If special roles are claimed, then the werewolves might kill one of those in addition.

This scenario evens everything out in terms of night kills per lynch, but what about seer views? I think if the seer doesn't get one in between those lynches, they'll be one short.

Oh yes, that's a good note. I'll sort this out - perhaps :
- giving seer 2 views on night 1 (since werewolves get 2 kills, I think this could be pretty fair)

Before the game begun, I was thinking of giving the seer 1 view before Day 1 - so this kind of evens things out.

I think this is balanced enough & doesn't change the power setting much. It might slightly favor the town side, since The Tick is confirmed townie (or is he... :p) and wolves will need to kill him, but I suppose since there's only 8 *player* townies against 3 wolves that should be fine.

Naturally this will only occur if somebody makes a special role claim.

I assume the Tick isn't actually going to vote, so there are really only 11 voters today. Shouldn't that mean we only need 6 to lynch?

I'm trying to figure out if needing 7 when there are only 11 voters is better for the town or the scum....

It seems like we'd be less likely to lynch scum since we would need more scum votes to reach 7 then we would to reach 6. Of course, we don't actually need any scum votes, since there are 8 townies, but you're unlikely to get 7 of 8 on the same person.

On the other hand, it also means the scum can't sit back as much, since they need to be voting to get a lynch eventually.

I think it favours the scum more than the town really, but I'm likely missing a number of factors.
