The Wonder of It All

Every so often I try to imagine a Life without Wonder. The only thing I come up with is that it must be a very dull Life.

This morning I got up around 6:00 and turned on my computer and some music. Music is a wonderful thing, I always listen to some variety of Jazz. As soon as I got up I was wondering.

When the Sun rose, I got a lot of Sunlight in my apartment and I turned off my lamps. My apartment has southern exposure so I get sunlight all day. Right now I am watching the Sun gradually move across the sky and fill my apartment with sunlight. My house plants get sun all day.

I got up about 2:30. I made a cup of coffee and turned on the music. I'm listening to some jazz vocals, Peggy Lee to be specific. She had a hit "Is That All There Is" in which she tells about a life in which she is still wondering.

I take a sip of the hot coffee and start wondering about what surprises the day will bring.

Saturday, I'm going to start moving to different apartment on a different floor in the same building. I have until Tuesday to complete the move so I won't be rushed.

I have a friend in this building who will help me.

That move is a source of wonder for me. Already I'm wondering what that will be like.

My new apartment may turn out unlike anything that I have previously experienced. It might turn out to be a complete surprise.

This apartment is going to be full of wonder. It will be wonderful.

I'm all moved in to my new apartment and it is completely different than my old apartment. I like it but it will take some time to get used to.

It is smaller and the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are on a different side.

The whole apartment is on a different side of the building so I don't have the the beautiful view that I had. I no longer can see the sunrise.
