I can't speak for anybody else, but I think and hope that most of my posts at and about you have been dismissive mockery. I sincerely apologize for any that were not. Also, unwarranted self-importance and newb rule 5.

To be sure, ChuckF, and each of your posts notably filled with self-important angst.
The unambiguous theme, no doubt, for the forum itself.
It is, after all, what brings each of us back day after day.

Again, you need to be using green italics for that.
And yeah I'm a pretty big deal.

"Angst"? Do you compose your posts after shaking up words in a hat?

You'll have to email me the FF legend and lore manual on that one, ChuckF, not all of us are (shakes hat) immaculately immersed in FF fan-fiction.

Personal fuck tha police: notsosure and I just drove 1720 miles in two days without valid proof of insurance, across four states, often 5-10 mph over the posted speed limits. Why? Because we're rebel scofflaws.

No, but I did not recycle my cans and bottles in Oregon and California. That's probably a capital offense there.

Could they have been saved? 'Hostage' police accused of being 'too late' to scene of Connecticut family massacre
As a loving human being, husband, father of a daughter, police officer and hostage negotiator...I can feel the deep psychological damage that is done here all around.
Since the first moment of the first day, every breath has been spent trying to save people, to do the right thing...to fix every single thing that has been broken.
Turns out, in spite of the best of intentions, none of us really can.
I am so sorry.

Painting on property that is not your own is not ethical, nor is it legal.
The rest seems to be one big ad hominem against individual officers.

In case you missed it, she was painting on her own property. Her property simply happened to be taped up against a wall.

So you obviously didn't bother to read the rest of it, given your previous statement, which was based solely on the self-serving 'observation' of the cop that busted her.
You have also, unsurprisingly, misused the concept of ad hominem. It is not shorthand for "Mommy, he's being mean to me!", which clearly wasn't the intent of the article anyway. Nor would the credibility of the article be impeached if it had been anti-cop. Believe it or not, cops are not universally loved and respected, nor do they have a right to expect such of people.

lol really? How about sitting on it? Is it illegal and unethical to sit on a city-owned park bench, or a wall? What about chaining your bike to city property? Leaning against it?
What if you lean your bike against a city-owned fence, and the police arrest you and smash up your bike? Would it also be an ad hom to call that cop a jerk?
Or did you not actually read and comprehend that story?

No.
I actually and admittedly didn't read it all and must have missed where it was her property she was painting on.
If it was her property, then she should have not been arrested, hassled or face a court appearance.
"Fuck tha police!"

Clearly. However, the fact that she was painting on her own store-bought paper came much earlier in the article than the quote from the police report, which was in the third paragraph from the bottom. So for you to have missed the former and grabbed onto the latter meant that you scanned the article for the quote from the police report first and didn't bother reading her side of the story. This only makes sense under the assumption that the police are unfailingly honest and can do no wrong.
And you wonder why nobody here respects you or cop culture in general.

Re: Official "FUCK THA POLICE" thread
Not only was it her property but she was using water colors and had taped her piece up to a temporary wall. I wonder how this bodes for children who use sidewalk chalk to tag city property with their gang related hop scotch games.
ETA: And if they weren't cops and she was raped, murdered and fed to a tiny Chihuahua I bet the police would be going on the news stating that officers will have no problem showing you their badge or otherwise confirming their identity.

OT.
I think this is true. Despite best intentions and actions, terrible things happen. I think it is a hard lesson for people who "want to help" to learn. Nothing I can do may (will?) help, but the alternatives are worse.
It's not such a bad thing to know.
