Hi Shelli and Watser.
Yes it is annoying to be powerless. 
But this wifi place has been a godsend.
Half million people are still without power. And it's going to be cold tonight.
Hubby just called me and said he took a detour on his way home and they are working on two power lines that I didn't see. So I am hoping there will be power by tonight.
Freezer should be ok if we get power on by tonight. I hope, I hope!

Good luck with your power Plant Woman.
One of the things on my list to get for the house is a portable generator...where we live (on a little cul-de-sac, off a side road, off a side road) if there was ever a major ice storm/hurricane tree-limb incident we'd be about last in the state to get our power back.
I keep eyeing those things at the local Home Despot. Maybe Santa Tax Refund will bestow us with enough  to get one.
