What is your town read of MZ rooted in again? You said he was looking town to you in your first post on day one and then reiterated it early day two despite his hammering mick, but you didn't really explain your grounds. Is it a gut thing or is there something specific in his posting record?

I agree with diva ... mega was far more engaged and constructive in the gits game .. he was town in that game

otoh, in another more recent game .. I think it was gonzo's game .. if I recall correctly (can anyone verify?) he kidded around like he is here

Nothing specific .. I know town MZ gameplay when I see it.

gib and ksen have ben joined at the hip, not they've done a tremendous amount of scum hunting together. Something is wrong with that.

They were hot to lynch megs while he was out of the thread but chickened out when he showed up.

claimed he couldn't even remember the megs lynch attempt

they started going after diva together over the narrative comment

as soon as gib caught a little heat he started bleating for ksen who was not in the thread that very moment

ksen came back and now they are cozying up to diva again

vote gib

hedging, my arse ... Is it, or is it not true that mega has played in both styles as town?

I'll be quite happy to vote mega .. he's either scum or needs a push to get into the game.*

If anyone's been hedging today, it's you. All over the place, in fact.

Oh dear.

That's not an angry post, diva. I didn't accuse you of angry posts either. aggro and angst are the words I used. I apologise, okay? Let's just get on with the game and talk about that post game.

no, megs play is a lot like his last game when he was town, only he's less engaged. That was a timed game, though. That might explain the difference. I'm more interested right now in how it came to be that ksen and gib are so buddy buddy.

You're barking up the wrong tree there .. It's how gib plays .. I'm not so sure about ksen, but he's low down on the uncertainty list atm

ANYWAYS!!! this is what I was going for:

I do not like the misrepresentation that people are voting willy nilly and for no reason. It has been explained to her in several games as to why some people vote the way that they do on d1. Pressure voting and to get someone talking is the number 1 reason and yet having to explain that over and over again kind of nullifies any intention for voting for those reasons.
I'll take another look at amok's posts ..
Took a look ... ayep I see it .. Actually it was rereading and finding gib's post saying his vote does make sense that triggered understanding of your point just now.

Hypebole .. is Amok given to this as town? I'm leaning no.. as town she's conscientious and methodical.
and today:

followy as fuck.

and due to amnesia I forgot about where she mischaracterised what I said with this:

There are definitely more TR/MR folks than :ff: so it will be interesting to watch the dynamics.

In the games that I played/observed, :ff: people tend to get super duper cerebral and comb over every little detail of every little post. There is a lot of talent in some of the analysis and it certainly forces a different approach. I like it for a change of pace.
Hi diva, didn't mean to be ignore you.

What do you think about second votes on someone in an untimed game?
:matrixglomp: hey ksen

are you talking about mz's vote on mickthink? I think mick's vote and foses look terrible,so in my eyes the mz's vote is warranted although it does not mean that he is town.

I am really not getting a feel for anybody yet. except for amok.

I am also not liking daphne very much. I am not sure that I can get behind a Jerome lynch.
This post from someone who's played untimed games before ... it pings.
you are going to have to explain why this pings cos I am not following the "this from someone who has played untimed games before" with what I said.
I'm not sure now on rereading it .. it read like timed gameplay on my first read through, and thus coercive .. trying to impose time constraint where there is none. I've reread it a couple of times and not seeing it that way so much now, esp having placed your comment about Jerome in the context of the dialogue between you and ksen.

Still interested in why amok has your attention. Also Daphne.
^ fucking makes no sense.

I am pretty sure you are scum elouise.

It's not so normal here, perhaps, but I get the impression that negotiating voting blocks is standard practice on the other forums. I think it's an approach that springs from short days which until recently we haven't had much of here.

They rely on meta to some degree, but it's not like they know for sure. More like you takes your chances and work the numbers to get someone you suspect lynched. If something happened and either one of them had reason to suspect the other, they'd vote accordingly.

Also, I've never been a fan of the scum buddies acting thick as thieves theory. In my experience, that doesn't really happen much.
