We were supposed to have intermittent snow throughout the day and get maybe 7" total accumulation, but instead it has been snowing steadily all day and I think we've already got about a foot.

So I've been stuck in the house all day long and you guys have been EXTREMELY BORING, which has not helped. Just FYI.

I blame the fact that it's 70 here today.

I was out working in the yard all day. It wasn't anywhere near 70 though.

We're supposed to get a blizzard tonight. The universities in town closed early and announced they'll be closed tomorrow. Detroit Public Library did the same, even though they are expecting less of it. I'm quite confident we won't close tomorrow.

We've had rain all day. It's below freezing and there's a sheathe of ice on the trees and we had four or power outages. Besides messing up my game, it did something to our primary heater, leaving us on the two electric backups. They are keeping the place livable but on the chilly side. I've also got a portable kerosene unit but it's for emergencies, being that it smells when cut off for fueling.

We've had more wintry weather in March this year than all of the previous winter.

It has been twenty years since the infamous Blizzard of '93 left the western mountains paralyzed with 3 to 7 feet of snow. It's pretty mild outside however, though raining.

Snowing again here. We had one week of Spring but now we're back.

It's been snowier here too, but I'm sort of relieved about it. It was a stupid hot winter, and I didn't like that one bit. I was even mad our Saturday blizzard ended early.

Also LOL people panic buy toilet paper when it snows, which is hilarious.

It's been light dustings of snow almost all winter here. Not enough to justify shoveling but enough to require wearing boots. This week has been especially active, with that crap almost every day and it's expected to continue all week. I'm officially sick of this.

I tend to hate weather that requires me to not wear boots.

I would love to wear boot recreationally, but pretty ones don't come in my size and the ones I do have exacerbate my borked foot.

It snowed in light flurries today and it's in the 20s. Yay spring

It was apparently 20 warmer in the Triangle today than in Boone.

well theres a raging blizzard outside today. It has dumped close to a foot of fresh snow since this morning, and still going strong


There was a 100+car pile up on one of the local highways this afternoon, sent almost 300 people to hospital. took me freekin 3 hours to get home from work today, but hey, at least I got home. 3+ foot deep snow drifts in middle of highway, some probably 100 meters long.

There is even snow in the Oklahoma forecast for tonight, not that snow at this time of year is unusual.

We were predicted to get maybe 3" of slush yesterday, but I guess the storm moved over a little bit, because we're getting a legit snowstorm now and we might end up with a foot or so accumulation by Monday.
