There is one misconception that is being spread here, that Garnet's forum is for talking shit about other forums. There is, of course, some of that, hell it goes on here as well, and in about any other forum in this galactic sector. But it is such a small part of that forum, it's really not fair to portray it that way. And Garnet really is a nice person, but I am a little disappointed she felt it necessary to post what she did in this thread. It's a free internet, I guess. *sigh*

Dislike the way leesifer misuses "proactive motivation" in subordinate clauses? "Flush!"

You can remove avatars, remove signatures. If you have a browser that supports Adblock you can selectively remove images.

In my mind, this removes 95.3% of the conflict. Some slither to the top of their matchbox and declare they "nevahs!" Ignore posters. Awesome. Then do not complain if something someone posts offends or otherwise ruins your Personal Viewing Pleasure.

Now if someone wishes to leave, leave they may. Simply log-out and never return.

It seems, then, that a number of viable solutions exist. What one chooses is one's own business, of course, but I will certainly be disappointed if Plant Woman chooses the more later choices.

Tolerance is what makes this forum work and regardless of what I think of the opinions of many of the posters in it, this place runs most excellently.

you really annoy me PW and it seems the feeling is mutual, but you do offer things that i like, such as your pictures. at my site i see some people as pillars of the website. i don't like some of them and clash philosophically with others, but these people are key components to what makes the site what it is. they are the people that set the tone. you are one of those people here, whether i like you or not. if you leave, you take away the biggest part of me...no...wait...if you leave, you are leaving something cool you helped create.

you shouldn't feel offended by the photograph for your past experience, but pleased that your experience here helped create a safe atmosphere where people are free to just put it out there in any way they know how...and maybe in the end that's a good thing?
