Hailing all Neverwinter adventurers! We're excited to bring you an upcoming event this Friday involving an assault on Tower District to take down the vicious Many-Arrows orcs. This new event type will be called "Call to Arms." Want to learn more about the system, and more importantly, how you could earn unique rewards? Read on!

You may be familiar with Skirmishes which are available in each adventure zone. These new Call to Arms Events will be a modified version of each zone's skirmish with some very distinct differences! Firstly, these new Call to Arms Events will be available for players of all levels (from 5-60)! If you've missed some skirmishes along the way, then prepare yourself to rejoin the fight to defend Forgotten Realms! Also, parties who successfully complete a Call to Arms Event may be rewarded with companions, dye packs, transmutation items (items which change the appearance of your equipment), and other unique rewards! These rewards will vary and will be unique to each adventure zone's Call to Arms Event.

Players will also be able to queue for Call to Arms at any time when the Event is active.

I've done it twice so far and gotten some Savage Enchants and random drops. What I want is for Lerissa to get the skull orb for transmutation. (I finally managed to get my robes transmuted to the Illithid robes with the bony collar, so the skull orb would work out wonderfully.)

Anyway, it's a fun skirmish and does grant the achievement for the Tower District if you've done the dungeon, which Lerissa has. However... the queue times are outrageous. It took me over an hour each time. There is a thread on the official forums and the Dev teams says they are trying to fix it. The general consensus seems to be that there aren't enough instances, as even full parties are having to wait long times.

An oddity, I just did the event with my cleric* and then went to the Tower District to find some scrying stones. Some of the orcs were aggroing on me and I noticed that for some reason, their level number was showing as red. Then I noticed that these particular ones are dropping the same loot as the skirmish orcs did, including Savage Enchants and variable level green items.

Finally got a special weapon, though for my cleric of course.

*The wait was shorter for her. Apparently, since the server is trying to make balanced groups, the two least played classes - cleric and guardian fighter- get it quicker than the others.

I have three pig companions. Not really sure if/how to allot them. Really want to upgrade my GF's boar mount but it costs significantly more than buying a tier 3 from the cash shop. $:\$
