I am getting so tired of corpspeak. If I hear "pain points" or "paradigm shift" one more damn time!

And can some one tell me what value the word "added" adds to the phrase "add added value"?

My brain made me post this:

SimpsonsLady: We at the network want a dog with attitude. He's edgy, he's "in your face." You've heard the expression "let's get busy"? Well, this is a dog who gets "biz-zay!" Consistently and thoroughly.

Krusty: So he's proactive, huh?

Lady: Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Meyer: Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? [backpedaling] Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
[pause]
I'm fired, aren't I?

Myers: Oh, yes.

Sometimes, Veritas, you just need to think outside the box.

I dislike the reason why. Why? The reason is the redundancy clause. I hear this so much, I say it too much.

I'm a redundant.

Clearly, we, as a cross-functional team within a learning organization, need to benchmark our core competencies because we are far from zero defections.

I ascertain that we need some differentiated instruction in disciplinary literacy, perhaps with a performance based rubric designed to align our FF core content with authentic assessment of our benchmarks; criterion-referenced proficiency and reliant more on mentoring or scaffolding.

I read that as a contraction of corpse speak the first time through.
