Default Re: A revolution in thought

I am sure all you slaves to Scientism dogma and Galileo-inquisiting witch-hunters have failed to notice this, because you are all just interested putting down Important Discoveries, but Recent advances in practical applications of quantum mechanics shows our scientific understanding is moving more and more in the direction set out by the Messiah (not the messiah) heralding the Golden Age which is definitely happening last century, just not in our lifetimes!

Because, as you bunch of sexy-jacket scorning Luddites can read for yourself: while a photon can indeed not travel faster than the speed of light, the properties of a photon can be changed instantly!

All you nay-sayers who kept harping on the fact that instant sight is simply physically impossible have to admit that scientific thought is slowly catching up to what Lessans knew all along: that the instant transferal of information is indeed possible. Efferent sight could work through quantum entanglement: two photons can be thought of as very distant in 3 dimensional space, while at the same time being adjacent in a different dimension... and when you change the properties of one, the other one changes as well, and instantly.

The photon at the retina can indeed be the mirror image of the one at the sun, so to speak. And what is more, this pudding has now been scientifically proven to work at very long distances indeed.

Once again, we see scientific evidence emerging proving what Lessans knew all along.

And yet, despite practical applications of that slide rule, that corollary, that magic elixir THOU SHALL NOT BLAME, already proven to work not just in the Netherlands but now in Germany also, the mainstream scientific community still shows no interest in it at all.

How much empirical evidence is it going to take before the academia manage to abandon their stifling bias and in stead appoint a team of scientists (not political scientists) to verify this revolutionary work?

That first article is complete crap, as expected. They left out the most important point, which is that you need to transmit classical bits slower than the speed of light to make quantum teleportation work. It's strongly implied there that you would get really fast internet because of that spooky faster-than-light action at a distance that poor Einstein couldn't believe. No, Einstein was positive and right. There is no such thing. Entanglement isn't faster-than-light communication between particles, it's a correlation and nothing else.

That article is the usual mix of facts, some of them irrelevant, and half-truths, that leaves the reader with completely wrong conclusions.

New information in the article:
"Researchers from China set a new distance record for the transmission of entangled photons. It's a factor of 8."

Happy Authentic Text Resurrection Day, brothers and sisters of :ff:!

That's right, it was one year ago today that ChuckF rescued the Authentic Text - the true writings of Seymour Lessans, penned and published during the author's lifetime - from a dusty shelf in the Library of Congress and began sharing it with a world in need! :cheer:

We had, of course, long known that peacegirl is a craven liar, as well as a cheat, thief, layabout and all-around harridan. But the full extent of peacegirl's vicious gang-rape of her father's work only became known when ChuckF, who is without doubt the True Steward of Seymour Lessans' intellectual legacy, presented the Authentic Text to us in all its juicy-cunted, fathers-feeding-children-from-their-own-breasts glory.

We had hoped that the coming to light of Lessans' true writings, which peacegirl intentionally tried to suppress, would lead peacegirl to abandon her disgraceful ways and join us on the path of truth and discovery. Sadly, that was not to be. peacegirl still hawks her fraudulent Corrupted Text - which is fraudulent and corrupt - online at $41.00 a pop (:faint:). She responded to Chuck's rediscovery of the Authentic Text by anger-peeing a torrent of blame at any who dared reject her fraudulent Corrupted Text in favor of the true word of Seymour Lessans. In so doing, peacegirl in effect anger-peed in the bottle containing the magic elixir, Thou Shalt Not Blame.

We do not blame peacegirl for her appalling behavior. One must consider the source, and assigning blame here would be akin to blaming a howler monkey for flinging its own shit.

Besides, we still live in a free will environment. Most people's conscience operates at a 2 or a 3 in such an environment, rather than the 10 that the 100% nonreligious God intended. Of course, peacegirl's conscience operates at a 0 or 1, tops. :sadcheer: Sadly, she may be one of those few incorrigibles who will require lifetime confinement in a psychiatric hospital when the Golden Age comes (blame-free and for her own good, of course).

Of course, there remains much to do. Exegesis continues apace in the Private Forums, and it is hoped that after 15-20 year of Internet flailing, coupled with learning how to use Wordpress, which is really hard, we will truly be ready to bring this discovery to a world in need.

Of course, that doesn't mean we can't take a day to observe the rediscovery of the Messiah's true writings. Recall that when Seymour Lessans was about to leave this life and return to the Germinal World of Potential Consciousness, from where he would be born anew, he told his assembled family not some sappy bullshit like "I love you" or "Thanks for sharing your lives with me" but instead "My day will come." That sort of humility doesn't grow on trees, to be sure, but I doubt Lessans would object too much if we devoted a day to praising his true writings and condemning the efforts of the vacuous idiot hack who tried (and failed) to destroy those writings.

Look, the important thing is that more and more evidence is coming to light that is perfectly compatible with the book. This obviously means that science is slowly catching up with these revolutionary ideas, which were just way ahead of their time. It may be your opinion that there are a lot of quibbles still to be worked out, and that is fine. But the general trend is clear: it is theoretically possible to see instantly, because of quantum.

Is that right? I must have missed this that story.

True humility just radiating out from that man. I'm just proud to say that I heard of him before the new world came.

Yessir, it is indeed right:

His dying words were, “My day will come.”
Verily, the Messiah was the humblest of persons, having nary a single self-aggrandizing or histrionic bone in his entire body. :yup:
