Re: Seen any crappy movies?
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel - one of the girls really wanted to watch it, so we did this weekend. I will say that I did laugh at least twice, so it's wasn't totally shit. Considering the target audience, I don't think it was a shocker that I didn't enjoy it.
We also watched Paranormal Activity and it was awful. One of the girls absolutely loves this movie and has seen it like 5 times. So we watched it and I wanted to tear my eyes out after 20 mins. Seriously, I cannot believe people watching in a theatre could make it through those 20 mins. I suppose you believe it HAS to get better (and it does, marginally), but man it sucked donkey balls at the start. Mostly, I just kept thinking that NO ONE would EVER act like the people in the film did. Awful, awful movie.

Re: Seen any crappy movies?
I saw Leap Year last night. Even though the divine Amy Adams can do no wrong in my eyes, she was completely wasted in that movie. Overall, I thought the movie was dull, completely predictable, un-funny -- and frankly, insulting.
Cheers,
Michael

Not really ugly ones like he is in the film and she can't act her way out of a paper bag.
Otherwise, I quite like vampire films.

Re: Seen any crappy movies?
The author is Brian Lumley and maybe they were only released over here. There's about 15-20 of them all told.

That's a Brian, not an Arthur. Jeez, Lees.

I rented that a few weeks ago. What a disappointment.
Both people -- but especially the guy -- were so unbelievably stupid that, by about halfway through the movie, I was hoping the demon (or whatever the heck it was supposed to be) would just hurry up and kill them already. The gene pool did not need those two in it.
Cheers,
Michael

Down, Dingfod. Take deep breaths and let the whole experience just wash over you.
