I got this guy confused with the other crazy guy who is defriending the people on Facebook. I read them both, but then I basically merged the two into one super-crazy hater guy instead of two discrete ones, like that time that I thought that Lambada and Lambada: The Forbidden Dance were the same movie.
I still do whatever I want, though. Let's not lose sight of that.

Yeah, compelling your mistress into having abortions just doesn't have have the same zing since Cuba isn't the abortion/whorehouse for the rich it used to be.
Socialism ruins everything for white men, doesn't it?
My name is R______. I am six years old. I think it's not fair to only have 5 girls in Guess Who and 19 boys. It is not only boys who are important, girls are important too. If grown ups get into thinking that girls are not important they won't give little girls much care.
Also if girls want to be a girl in Guess Who they'll always lose against a boy, and it will be harder for them to win. I am cross about that and if you don't fix it soon, my mum could throw Guess Who out.
My mum typed this message but I told her what to say.
I have been giving mad respect to Hasbro because of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. But in a second of reflection that's an accident. Hasbro was just smart enough to get out of the way because dollars were rolling in.

Dear R___,
Thank you for your email. Please find below an explanation which I hope your mummy will be able to explain to you.
Guess Who? is a guessing game based on a numerical equation. If you take a look at the characters in the game, you will notice that there are five of any given characteristics. The idea of the game is, that by process of elimination, you narrow down who it isn't, thus determining who it is. The game is not weighted in favour of any particular character, male or female. Another aspect of the game is to draw attention away from using gender or ethnicity as the focal point, and to concentrate on those things that we all have in common, rather than focus on our differences.
We hope this information is of help to you.
May we thank you for contacting Hasbro and if we can be of any further assistance, either now or in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Kind Regards,

Only six years old and she's already collecting the mansplaintions.
I love this. The whole idea that women are overly emotional and irrational and that men aren't is one of those things that's never made any sense to me at all, especially because it's usually men in the throes of temper tantrums who say it.
It's nice to see someone lay it all out with examples and everything.
Well, duh! Hysterical is real word. Testerical is just something you made up.

As much as I would adore picking apart every piece of this thing, I think my energy would be better spent doing something more fun and/or productive. Plus the blogger with the gender-neutral first name did a fine job, and there's not much for me to add. So I'm just going to reply to this one thing:

Masculine identify has become increasingly problematic due to technological and cultural changes over the past 10,000 years, beginning with the horticultural and agricultural revolutions but gaining momentum with the industrial, military and reproductive revolutions.
Egalitarian feminists have unwittingly exacerbated the problem, leaving men unable to make even one contribution to society, as men.
I love how it's our fault he can't figure out a way to make himself useful. Why don't you try learning a marketable skill, like fixing computers, changing diapers, stand-up comedy, or sensual massage? It must suck to spend your life conducing a cost/benefit analysis on every thing or person in your life, only to find out how little you truly bring to the party.
Fortunately for him and all men, most women people have compassion and value people for more than just what their anatomy can be used for.
(also, seriously, when did men stop taking credit for every single advance in technology, culture, horticulture, agriculture, industry, military, and healthcare ever?)
I don't know if you all have seen Snow White and the Huntsman, but he is dead on. Just like in the story, the Queen wants Snow White dead, so she runs for her life, and she ends up hooking up with a bunch of dwarves.Only instead of miners, they are a band of thieves, and they are very successful because (a) people consistently underestimate them and (b) their victims are too ashamed to report the truth of the crime, so they can continue to work under the radar. They teach Snow White to be a thief in their merry band, and she does lame "damsel in distress" routine that works too well because people are so eager to believe it.
The prince of the story, not the hero, is a totally pompous dork who keeps getting taken and humiliated, because he refuses to see himself as anything but a hero, or anybody else as any more powerful than he believes women or dwarves can be.
I wasn't thrilled with the evil villain queen trope and the girl-on-girl "fairest of them all" competition, but hey. Baby steps.
Edit:
That's twice I've made that mistake. That movie I just described was Mirror Mirror with Julia Roberts. The first time was when my friends were like, "We're thinking of bringing Snow White and the Huntsman, but it might be too scary for you," and I was like, "Damn, you guys, give me some credit," because I thought they were talking about Mirror Mirror that time, too.

Reason: wrong fucking movie, again!
That's not real. It can't be real. For the sake of my sanity it's a Poe. It's a Poe, right? It is. I knew it.
I've been noticing lately that some people are neglecting the 'dogwhistle' part. It's happened quite a bit lately with Republicans and racism, and it's happening here. Normally, these sort of objections are couched in terms of audience analysis and evo psych and shit. The unusual thing about this guy's argument is that he doesn't seem to know how to do that.

He doesn't want to be useful, just important and he doesn't want to work for it. He just wants it handed to him on a platter when his testicles drop.

Much of MADNESS, and more of SIN, and HORROR the soul of the plot.
There’s been a lot of talk about how Hollywood doesn’t believe female-led films will make money at the box office and that’s why so few are made. This year not only proved them wrong, it proved them wrong in a big way. Indie studio Lionsgate has done something they’ve never done before – in 2012, they had two films both make over $125 million in North American theaters. The films? The Hunger Games and Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
And now, I rightfully request a lady smug to use instead of this smarmy asshole . Because it's totally right and appropriate and it's about damn time. But until then, I'm signing it like this because it's almost the same thing.
So, let me get this straight: The problem is that there just aren't enough movies featuring manly men doing manly things (like blowing stuff up, for example, and shooting lots of people) as the leads, and in which women exist only as background decorations and/or as sex objects?
That is the problem?
