Default Newfound appreciation of the old microscope (5 pence coin).

Good morning!

So I have 2 working microscopes - a new Chinese made microscope, with a trinocular port and modern optics; and a 1941 Spencer.

I don't use the Spencer much because it's not easy to use, and optical quality generally is on par with the new one.

...and then on a whim, I tried it with the 3D print. The output was so much better that I decided to try something I've never been happy with - coins.

Here we have the lion's head from the "tails" side of a 5 pence coin - a leftover from my European vacation. I am very happy with this.
