That's the actual title of the paper! I thought you were paraphrasing. That's just the best.

Re: On the reception and detection of pseudo-profound bullshit
We need to send these guys a link to our Philosophy forums. They will have so much more training data for the detection of PPBS.

Re: On the reception and detection of pseudo-profound bullshit
This thread is more than 1250 days old, yet I have selected it from among uncountable dead threads for resurrection, because it is marginally relevant.
Via 'Calling bullshit': the college class on how not to be duped by the news | US news | The Guardian, I have started Calling Bullshit — Videos.

In Spring 2017, we taught the course for the first time as a series of ten hour-long lectures. These lectures were recorded using multiple cameras and edited to form a video series. We have divided up every lecture into a set of a shorter segments; each segment should more or less stand alone on its own merits.

Already at 1:22 in the first video, one of the speakers has used the phrase "second-order bullshit". I am optimistic.

Yes but HOW MANY 10 hour long lectures?
Seriously though I was almost put off by the idea of a 10-hour long lecture before I realized it was 10 hour-long lectures.
Once I actually view the content mayhap I will respond on topic.
