Re: Miscellany
Merry MLK Day, my little amazons!
Looks like your website is under attack from supernatural forces...
these little insignificant fools try to use lubricant to destroy every altar boy in the universe...
but not this one!
First of all: Notradumbass demolishes "amazonium"

wait, wait...
I forgot something...
you little shits even talk about me....
NADS ON FIRE....
don't waste your time in such futile activities...
and the lesson from all of this:
the amazon sins not only against altar boys, but also against twinkies...

They don't make TV series opening credits like this any more.

I'm embarrassed to confess that I haven't been keeping up with Jersey Shore, that one reality show about Guidos.
But look! Here's a sort of Cliff's Notes version performed by kindergarteners! Now I don't have to have social anxiety anymore!

I did not know it had been made into a series....was it even shown in the US?
Water Margin was reputed to be Mousey Dung's favorite story. He, of course, cast himself as the hero of the story, the leader of the bandits who saved the empire from itself.

Re: Miscellany
I'm not sure whether to file this mentally under "awww that's nice" or "creepy! sleep with one eye open!" I have this turtle next to my doormat that I got en route to Sedona that has a little sign saying "Welcome" hence his name, Welcome Turtle. Anyway, he's survived a lot over the years, including an accidental decapitation by my former landlords' overzealous treetrimmers. Obviously he responded to the cement glue well, although I still keep waiting for his head to fall off again. So there's this tiny little hand-knitted green beanie that has one of those jingle-bell things on top and it fit so perfectly on his head that I've been making him wear it all the time and it has made it through many moves. When I went out to pick up the paper yesterday I noted that the wacky weather had blown his little hat right off but I was too lazy to pick it up and put it back on his head, figuring I'd get to it today and plus it's not like he cares, he's a cement turtle tchotchke. So today I didn't leave the house at all but at the last minute (before the closest grocery closes) remembered that I needed a pint of fresh milk, so off I went, and when I came back I noticed that the little beanie had been returned to the Welcome Turtle. But not on his head, on the sign. Which means somebody else did it, which means somebody was on my doorstep which due to the layout of the apartments could not be on accident. But I think maybe it was the paper-delivering person! That's the only explanation that doesn't make me feel weird.

Re: Miscellany
Of course you can't use glue. It requires stitches and bolts and then you have to wait till the storm is at its height!
