Looks like I have to revive this thrad. It isn't an epic hate, but it still counts. I am currently wanting the Yankees at White Sox game going on now when I saw something horrifying.

The White Sox new home uniform is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. The eyesore should have the designer who created it fired. It's fucking hideous! Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to saddle the poor White Sox players with such an ugly uniform?

The uniform in question is Alt 2 in the little window showing their uniform in the franchise description box. It doesn't look that bad in the illustration. The real life version is a lot uglier, though.

Called it. I had just assumed that this was a new, original design, but it's actually a revival of the 1983 uniform.

Cathedral Bible College founder Reginald Wayne Miller — whose ambition as a young adult put him briefly in the national spotlight before allegations of sexual improprieties chased his ministry from Florence to Myrtle Beach — pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to four felony charges and two misdemeanors related to labor fraud, visa fraud and failing to pay minimum wages.

The charges stem from Miller’s treatment of international students who came to the college, which re-located its main campus from Myrtle Beach to Marion in 2012, hoping to earn degrees in theology, ministry and other Christian studies.

Students told investigators earlier this year that their classes were a sham, they lived in substandard conditions and Miller forced them to work at the college or his home for little pay, according to court documents. If they refused to work, the students said, Miller threatened to deport them.

A criminal complaint filed earlier this year states Miller forced students to work at the college and his home sometimes for more than 40 hours a week and for as little as $25 per week.

The official charges against Miller are two felony counts of visa fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for each charge, and two felony counts of fraud in labor contracting, which carries maximum prison terms of five years for each charge.

Fucking piece of shit should have been charged with one or more of these offenses. On the plus side, it appears that our treasured constitutional religious freedom rights don't necessarily trump the 13th Amendment. Yet.

My life is so wierd. It's allegorical to the nth. My father went to college at Transylvania University.

When I got out of college I joined the Teamsters (the guards were union organized at the Whitney).

I went off to hide in art and academia.

I fled through this art portal for twenty years. In the mean time my Dad started a very very bad

He props up fast food/soda/factory farming/childhood obesity and diabetes/drunk driving/secondhand smoke.

He attacks animal lovers, ecologists, civil action attorneys, scientists, dieticians, doctors, teachers.

His clients include everyone from the makers of Agent Orange to the Tanning Salon Owners of America.

He helped ensure the minimum wage did not move a penny from 1997-2007!

The worst part for me as a writer is what he does with the english language.
