I glow happily now as my ears collect the peaceful sweet sounds of Flutter sharpening her beak and my kitty snoring while curled up on the futon next to us.

Oh, yeah, and being able to enjoy the smell of lilacs today even though those in my area have gone their course already. They bloom later in Vermont which is where I was VROOMing today surrounded by the smell of lilacs.

Swinging on the rope swing at my mother's place today made me happy. Also made me sore though.

Paws the office cat goes crazy playing with strips of paper, and today some medicine came in a large box packed full of it.
So we just put her in the box and watched the fur fly

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
What really made me happy this past weekend? I had left my boys on the bank fishing to walk back to the car for drinks when they started screaming...DAD...DAD...COME HERE ....QUICK!
I made a mad dash back to where they were fishing to see my youngest fighting to reel a large-mouth bass he had hooked. It lept from the water attempting to sling the hook loose, but it was a losing battle. My youngest, 10 years old, caught and landed his first large mouth bass.

Re: Gush, Babble, and Glow Happily Thread
Yesterday the sun came out, finally. It was cool in the breeze, hot in the calm. I got many things accomplished at work. Then I played some late afternoon hockey at the university ice rink, where I scored three pretty goals. When I rolled into the driveway after a lovely, tired, bike ride home, my son was there shooting on the hockey net that lives in our driveway. He shouted, Dad! like he was super-glad to see me, and asked me if I wanted to play with him.
I did.
So I ran indoors, put on shorts and sandals and no shirt, and spent half an hour passing the ball to my boy so he could take one-timer slapshots, while he told me a great deal about Various Things. We both drank from my biking water bottle.
Then my wife called in for dinner. ("Boys!") Which was delicious, and happy. She left early for School Council, and I took Middle Kid over to the park to work on her throwing technique -- Softball Throw being her event of interest at the upcoming school track and field day. Even though there were other kids her age around, she held my hand as we walked.
Then Pittsburgh beat Detroit. And I went to bed with a good book and a beautiful woman. (Er... my wife had come back home.)
Dunno about gushing, but I suspect I Glowed Happily all night in my sleep.

The lady we just hired to mow our lawn just gave us the first one for free! (We've stored a bunch of her stuff for a few months and she wanted to say Thank you.)
Someone is coming for a meeting at my house and she is bringing me a Tim Horton's coffee -- also free!

My grandson is back from his school trip to Italy. I don’t know what junk he’s been eating but he is so hyper right now. He had a great time btw.
