Re: Unrelated to D.C. Madam Case
After all these scandals, it seems to me any given Congressperson is statistically less likely to be a closeted homosexual, hooker-fucker, and/or young boy ogler/emailer if they are a Democrat, gay rights supporter, or at the very least quiet on the family values front.

Note to a 33-year veteran of state and federal lawmaking bodies: Guilty pleas do not make misdemeanor charges "go away," they make them stick. Also, best of luck attempting to have that guilty plea withdrawn.

Re: Unrelated to D.C. Madam Case
Jeez Louise. If the threat of prosecution can overbear the free will of even a three-term United States Senator, then surely he can now understand the coercion of the state against a puny individual who has never had access to the halls of power. "Voluntariness" takes on a whole new perspective, now, doesn't it?

Re: Unrelated to D.C. Madam Case
Senators in bathrooms should be covered in air travel warnings
Unfortunately, this occurrence adds to the list of things I need to know before I leave the house for the airport:
The latest terrorist threat level: red or orange?
Traffic on the commute: Will I be held up by construction on my way there?
And, finally, how many Republicans will be in the men's room out at the airport? Will there be enough for a quorum?

It's no wonder the terror threat indicator is rainbow colored.

Dude, he was just trying to Keep America Beautiful. The current generation just has no conception of how serious a problem littering is.

Little Britain is now a work of prophecy.
I'm not sure if I should find that hilarious or disturbing.

I am not old enough to be Karl Rove's mother, but thank you for thinking of me and all.

That guy's pinky is too small. I don't think that would shock me in the slightest.

Re: Unrelated to D.C. Madam Case
The kid is doing the shocker while he's having his picture took with Karl Rove.
That is a naughty gesture that I am too ladylike to describe, but am not too ladylike to have made at a guy who pulled out in front of me last week.
ETA: Also not too ladylike to link to on Wikipedia.
