Re: First World Problems
OK, so somebody just signed up for a Pandora account with my email address, AND THEY LET THEM DO IT.
I've had an account with that email address since 2007. They just used a dot in it, which gets ignored by the email, but apparently, not by Pandora.
So I changed the password and told it I only like Gwar and Slayer, and now it's somebody else's first world problem.

I was sitting here, "working", happy as a dejected clam with ennui, when suddenly my Alt Gr key stopped working. So now if I want to type @ I have to use three keys like some sort of medieval peasant. Or copy/paste if from a text file I now have saved for convenience.

I own six fine-tip mechanical pencils, but I became very disturbed when I couldn't find the one I use the most. Luckily, after 3 searches, I came upon my lost pen, and felt actual relief.

I signed up for the 401K my new employer offers. They didn't start taking money out of my paycheck until now, but they took out money for all the pay between now and when I signed up, which was about a month ago.
Needless to say, my paycheck was much smaller than expected.

Re: First World Problems
Today was going to be the day to do Christmas cards for the Curses family. Gotta do them soon to ensure they get to Merrye Olde Englande before the 25th. I can't figure out which of my 3 computers the card list from last year is on and I don't wanna check the laptop because it takes aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages to boot up. So that means it's probably there.

Re: First World Problems
Maybe clubbing them would make them fit in the drawer better.
I, too, have this problem, but it doesn't seem to stop me from buying socks if I can find bamboo in a new color.

My socks get eaten by my dryer. And, as all my pairs of socks are different, I have lots of lonely socks I refuse to wear with something that it doesn't match.

Re: First World Problems
Goddamned motherfucking network connectivity problems at work this morning. Not only can I not get any work done, I can't even goof off effectively. At least my daughter can't see the way I type stuff on my phone like an inept old person.

Re: First World Problems
The amount of taxes taken out of my Christmas bonus was staggering. It feels like thinking you're getting a pool this year to getting signed up for the Jelly of the Month Club.
Thanks Obamacare.

As a Christmas bonus, my employer gave us 10% off discount coupons so we can buy more from them like good employees and good consumers.
