I just guess I shouldn't look at the stupid "popular" feed on Pinterest or something because I keep seeing that stupid Ladasha bullshit again, and every time I do, I report it and then I look and it's been repinned like hundreds of times. Stupid people love their stupid racist urban legends. And that one version I keep seeing actually has a photo of an actual child on it, too.
I normally don't want to just pop up on some stranger's pins and start giving them shit, but what the fuck? What kind of shithead doesn't look at that and see all kinds of things wrong and terrible about it?
Is that the Le-a thing? I found it on Snopes but not on Pinterest. There were quite a few weight loss and fat shaming pins though.

So this guy started following me a little bit ago, and it's like, that's cool. Obviously we have already seen some pretty dense communities of feminists on pinterest, and also there are plenty of women-loving men there, and thirdly of course we know actual feminist men irl, but still, whatever, that this board just even exists gave me a warm fuzzy. All the time seeing images of the shit some men put some women through, it's a refreshing reminder that the good guys in the world are not just limited to those I already know about.
Whatever you do, do not read this article and then click through and decide to follow about half or more of the linked boards, including "pointlessly gendered products" which would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. Especially don't do it if you have a big project due today.
I like that Pinterest is listening to their users on that one. Just in time for the holiday season. Very savvy, especially since their main profitability metric will most likely be traffic to sites where purchases are made. I totally have been using that for holiday planning.
Oh, and also I am trying to get this pin to trend on the beauty section. I already have a few repins, but others would help. If you have a beauty board show some love. Also, LOL.
So a while back, I repinned lisarea's pin of a racist urban legend (along with the link as to why it was racist) Three people have repinned it so far, all with 'Humor' related tags.
I am starting a petition to remove all the stupid people from the internet!

I have that problem, too, where I post something atrocious to point out that it's atrocious, and then people remove the text and repin it to their boards with "LOL" or my favorites, "LOVEEE" or something (I pronounce those words with long Es at the end, so LOVEEE is Mrs. Howell's name).
I am sorely tempted to go comment on their pins and point out that they are racist dumbasses, especially since they intentionally removed the caption pointing that out. Would you be mad if I did that, like would it be weird me stalking your pins like that?
I usually just repin it and then view the pin and edit it as soon as I post to change the link.
The trick is that you gotta do it REALLYFAST before some goober repins it again and says LOOOOOL or TRUEEE or some shit. So I go find my rebuttal first and have the link copied so I can get in there real quick and just Ctrl-V.
Alternately, you can copy the pin and then upload it from your computer, then do the rest.
The problem is that what I want is the link but it has no image on the page that the marklet can find.
It's not like the other thing (which I just ended up deleting this morning) This is something I found to be true. But, now I've got second thoughts because it's someone's Tumblr and it seems like permission should be sought and I'm not feeling up to asking for it.
Thanks though.

Oh, with those, you can just copy the image to your computer and then use that Add+ next to your username to upload it.
But yeah, I don't usually do it from places that don't have it enabled. I am always trying to pin stuff from this one blog that specifically disallows it because I keep forgetting. I technically could get around it, but I wouldn't do that either.
This lady hacker in London just started following me and at first I was like but now she is repinning every single thing I have pinned since the beginning of time.
I was like, "damn, are we in reruns? I've seen all this shit before," and then I realized that's because they were my pins. I'm thinking maybe she found the place recently and is having a PIN ALL THE THINGS moment.
