Honestly, aside from the last song, I have to say I'm underwhelmed by it.

Yes.
I've only heard the one AR Kane song that's on the album.

Monster Magnet - "Look to Your Orb for the Warning."
Itunes is on shuffle; it's on the first Matrix soundtrack.

The rest of the AR Kane songs are nothing like that one. Good in their own right, but Love From Outer Space is my favorite.

Saw them last week at the Music Meeting festival, best thing I saw, and I am not much of a blues fan usually.

Neneh Cherry - Buffalo Stance.
Aww yeah.
Bonus trivia - Eagle Eye Cherry is her brother.

And Don Cherry is their father.
Also: when that track came out it took me a few years to realise I knew her before from the New Age Steppers and Rip, Rig and Panic (she was only 16 or so when she sang with New Age Steppers).
Who's looking good today?

Today's looking mostly Isis, with a 50% chance of Nile and/or Decapitated in the afternoon.

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
It was synths for me this morning with Pet Shop Boys and A Flock of Seagulls. On the way home it was Coldwave (more synths really) from Funhouse. Nothing at the moment as I'm about to dig into the music video thread.

OMG Salt-N-Pepa - Push it!
I've got the Neneh Cherry station on at last.fm. How do you go from Shakspear's Sisters to Lisa Stansfield?
