I've done that before too. It worked pretty well and was a lot cheaper than a tube of yeast cream. At the time, one had to have a prescription to get the tube of cream. Yes, it was that long ago.

Garlic is well-known for its antifungal properties, although it's more often applied to garden plants than private bits.
