The LM leaves his beard hairs everywhere, and they do not look like beard hairs. He thinks it is all funny to leave them on my keyboard and stuff.

It kind of is, but still.

Put them on his coke can then use them as a segue to discuss John Holmes' cock.

Naw, Maturin can burst in on the John Holmes convo at regular intervals with his Clarence Thomas pronouncements. Like one of those giant German clocks where life-sized puppets drink a pint or snap their lederhosen every half hour on the half hour.

1.Make sure that when your arms are full of papers or boxes and you are trying to get on the up escalator, that you actually step on a full step not half step and end up looking like Lucy Ball doing a comic stunt for her sitcom.
2.Also be careful of sand that was spread for snow when it has melted, you will end up with skinned up knees.
I sure hope next week is better than the one I just finished up.
Funny, Dingfod worries about me getting thrown from a horse. I swear it is the other stuff around here that scares me more than getting pitched out of a saddle.

Oh, man, inland wave, we are such twins. I almost put my head through the front door last week or so. Scared the hell out of the dog. I do hope this week is going better.

Oh, and so just now, we have to go to Maturin's employers' Xmas brunch thingy, so I have to wear some kind of grownup clothes. So I got dressed in the skirt and sweater and pantyhose (!), and I was wearing The Shoes. You know, The Bane of Lady Shea's Existence Shoes:

and I say to him, "How is this?" and I was just kidding about The Shoes, but he's like, "Oh, yeah! That looks nice!" and I'm like, "The shoes?" and he's like, "Yeah! That looks fine. You don't have to wear tall shoes."

I sure like that guy. He makes me feel like some kind of fashionista!

(I am not going to really wear The Shoes.)

Twisted Sister has a Christmas album out. I just heard "Oh Come All Ye Faithful". I'm afraid it wasn't sung in irony.

Brrr...it was cold outside last night. I came home this morning, and there was frost. I drove down to the river and took a few pics of the sunrise. I'll post them when I can.

Probably with some skirts and sweaters, but not that one. Had sort of a Minnie Mouse effect.

Anyways, more issues:
  • I can never remember the difference between Medicare and Medicaid, or between storm watches and warnings. I mean, I know what the differences are, but I cannot memorize which is which in either case. As such, I give up trying, and I hereby grant myself immunity from getting picked on by nerds when I call something the wrong thing.
  • So, I was a Google Researcher, you know. I didn't do it actively for long, and didn't answer many questions, but anyway. Since Google has MURDERED their Answers service, they are offering former researchers AdSense revenue, except you have to have a blog or some shit to link to. Which I don't right now. So I guess I have to make a blog or something soon, or kiss goodbye to the shiny half-dollar I could potentially earn over the course of the next few years. WHAT SHOULD I SAY ON THAT?
  • I thought there was something else, but I have done forgot.

storm watches, they're keeping an eye on it, see if it comes this way.

storm warning is, 'it's coming, get ready'

at least that's what I think it means.

Holy mackerel. We're about to get snowed in.

It's already blowing sideways, and they're calling for 1 to 2 feet by tomorrow morning.

Yeah, here too. SIXTY INCHES, THAT IS.

OK. Not really. I think they're saying 1-2' still. There's like a tenth of a mile visibility, it's snowing .5 to 1" per hour, and Maturin probably accumulated half an inch on his head just now trying to shovel the walk. It looked like that spray-on hair stuff or something. I think he did it on purpose.

This just rocks so hard. I wish I didn't have to be sitting here working like a big dumb loser. I want to build snow walruses like a big dumb loser instead.

AAAH. So I just invented a totally excellent idea of a movie called "HIDE AND GO DIE," and LM is all like, "Ha! I'm going to steal your idea!"

TIMESTAMP.

By excess junk, what do you mean?

If it means to crop out part of the image, that's easy. MS paint should handle it, though I prefer IrfanView.

If you want to alter parts of the image to remove elements, that's going to take something like Photoshop.

no, I just want to cut the edges off. There's the subject, and then about 10 feet of empty space on every side. LOL.

what is MS paint?

Here is a link to the IrfanView site. link

To crop the image, either drag it into the program or browse to find it.
Use the mouse to select the area you want to keep by holding down the left button and dragging the cursor diagonally. Hit CTRL + Y and then save the image.

Otherwise, Paint should be able to handle it, probably the same way. The keyboard shortcut might not be the same though.

Hold on, responding to the paint question in a separate post.
