By "computer visual," I mean any type of static or dynamic image that takes advantage of computers as a means of creation and/or presentation, as opposed to painting a picture and writing about it. (We could also start another thread for traditional art...) "Intellectual" is a more elusive term and open to interpretation, but that's what makes it so interesting... It's safe to say that intellectual "art" may or may not be aesthetically pleasing because it's mostly intended to stimulate the mind in other ways. An optical illusion is a good example, but there are other ideas that fall under this broad category.
Here are some of my favorites:

Escher drew this in 1956. In 2002 a mathematician solved the mystery.

This was part of an MIT project. Should be titled, "Dr. Angry and Ms. Comatose."

True Art or a Fake?

Brilliant idea! It could have been executed a little bit better, but it's still a worthwhile site. The comments at the end are funny.

I'm not sure if this page still works because the computer I'm using does not have Flash. You might have to click around a bit.
