Code tags always strip the dollar signs anyway, which makes them pretty much unusable for perl and php. Total pain in the ass.

If you're in the html group, you can just use the <pre> tag...
Testing $to $see $if $it $removes $dollar $signs
Probably has other issues though - even if that worked.

(for FILE in *.flac ; do ffmpeg -i "$FILE" -f mp3 -ab 192000 "`basename "$FILE" .flac`.mp3" || break; done)

for FILE in *.flac;
do
ffmpeg -i "$FILE" -ab 320k -map_metadata 0 "${FILE%.*}.mp3";
done

etc

Oh yes. HTML tags aren't rendered in preview even if you're in The Group.

I'm reminded of the "rims" they used to sell to audiophiles for cd's... The rim adds momentum to the cd, see, to prevent unsmooth changes in speed, to prevent the sound from subtly speeding up and slowing down over the course of the rotation like an old fashioned gramaphone might.

CD's do not work that way.
