The saddest thing is that I'm not even surprised. I'm actually surprised that people in my feed are acting like this is something new and different rather than just a slight variation on the shit he's been spewing all along.

Well you see, it's not that he's advocating they shoot her, not at all, he's advocating that the second amendment supporters will come out in droves to support him over Clinton... after the election is over... see what you don't understand is 2nd amendment supporters have time travel abilities and will cast their votes back into the past.
I feel kinda sorry for those on Trump's communication team, it must be a daily panic over trying to spin the dumbass things he says each day into something that doesn't end his run right then and there. Of course Dump is great at being wishy washy enough to never state something flat out.
Is Trump hiding his tax returns because of large donations to NAMBLA? People keep saying he did, I'm just asking questions, that's all.
You know, for a while now I've thought that Hillary's life is actually in more danger than Obama's was in 2008.
I remember a lot of people, especially black people, being worried that some white supremacist would assassinate him. But the GOP and certainly John McCain was not encouraging such ideas except insofar as they exaggerated how bad Obama would be.
Not like this "lock her up", she's "guilty as hell", delegates and advisors saying she should be executed for treason (that advisor is still associated with the campaign), the violence at the rallies, Trump's good friend Roger Stone saying that there could be riots if Trump didn't get the nomination and it could be a bloodbath if he doesn't win in November. And now, dog whistles about "2nd Amd remedies."
I'm wondering about Clinton and Obama's strategy in terms of tying Trump to the other Republicans. Are they gambling that they don't need to do that and it's more important to do as much damage to Trump, and damage to the GOP will naturally follow anyway, or is there maybe a strategy to lure some Republicans into disavowing Trump before dropping him like an anvil on the remainder? Could there be some benefit to having the GOP be in disagreement on that? Does it aid their argument in some way if they have been seen saying "You guys are better than this" before letting the GOP prove that, no, they really aren't?
The other thought I've had about that is that they can possibly arrange things to punish the GOP in a pincer maneuver... But they need some Republicans to abandon Trump or for a larger number of them to be obviously ambivalent about him for it to work. They will attack the Republicans who support Trump or are ambivalent for not denouncing him after giving them plenty enough time to do so.
But Trump is so ego-driven that once it finally sinks in that he's going to lose, he will need to pin the blame on someone, anyone, anyone but himself. Some person or group that has enough power to be plausibly the cause of his loss. He's already doing this by suggesting that maybe Hillary will rig the election. But if the Democrats can get enough Republicans to explicitly disavow Trump, Trump may find that the more attractive narrative is the Dolchstoßlegende... the party stabbed him in the back, and that's the reason he's losing. And then say that those who stabbed him in the back deserve to lose. Then they'll be losing votes from Trumpkins and people disgusted with Trump.
I dunno what is the best strategy... bind him to the GOP as tightly as possible or try to divide and conquer...
This could go a lot of places, but I'm placing it here. It's an overview of the causes of stochastic terrorism and it addresses the way Drumpf's remarks today fit into that context. It's highly disturbing and quite insightful.
Naturally, Dave Neiwert is well worth reading too.
On a lighter note, #ManyPeopleAreSaying is now trending on Twitter due to the short-fingered vulgarian's egregious and repeated misuses of the phrase.

And the biggest goddamn fart joke in the whole crude Adam Sandler film that is our election process is that we are still pretending as if this patent liar, this demonstrable fraud, this ignorant piece of shit who gives honest turds a bad name, this Trump, this child, this trash heap that prances and preens like an inbred prince, has anything legitimate to say about anything.

And now he says "ISIS is honoring President Obama" because "he is the founder of ISIS. He is the founder of ISIS. He's the founder. He founded ISIS." And "Crooked Hillary Clinton" is the "co-founder."
And he makes sure to say "Barack Hussein Obama" later.
This does not surprise me about Trump. The thing that's disturbing to me is that he's still averaging around 37-40% in the polls.
It drives me a bit nuts because it's like, so we have no issue being reminded of the dictator we deposed and killed based on absolute lies and misinformation. Sure let's not only remind the public we did that, but admit we have no issue killing thousands over bogus data cause they follow a different religion and then whine about how they are fighting a religious war against us. As long as we won (kinda)! MERICA!! EAGLES! MCDONALDS!!
Well, as erimir pointed out, "mensiversary" (from the Latin for "month") is the one-month equivalent of anniversary.
So, if we're going to be consistent (not that the English language is exactly consistent about such things), I would suppose that 2 months after an event would be the duomensiversary.

Language Log examines the content of Drumpf’s “second amendment people” line and determines the campaign’s equivocation about the line to be, to use a technical term, “utter bullshit”. And given that the campaign’s surrogates can’t even seem to agree on what he meant, it’s not looking good for them.
I wonder if they stopped making videos because they realised they’d gotten too prophetic.

You know this is right and good because it features the word men prominently. And this is true, this is absolutely true, no other group on the planet is more oppressed and forgotten - everybody knows this, ask anyone - than men.
