So I got curious about the shortages of canned tomatoes I've been seeing in the past couple weeks, and lo and behold, turns out it's largely the responsibility of the same thing that is largely responsible for everything else that sucks right now.

Trump's only superlative is actually pretty amazing. He is consistently just the fucking worst in all ways at all times on all occasions.

It is an amazing talent to be the quintessential asshole american in every single possible way.

I know I might be exaggerating, but I swear not by much.

I keep trying to imagine the worst thing he could do in any given circumstance, and he always exceeds my expectations.

I imagined many horrors when he got elected. I lost so much sleep to that. When I would manage to fall asleep for a while, I'd wake up thinking, "Wait, is this real? OMG, what about [gay rights/immigration/the environment/whatever]" and that'd keep me up for about half an hour before I could fall back asleep.

It's all come to pass, but so much worse, and with so many things I hadn't even considered.

And every time I get a little acclimated, he delivers some brand new horror to wake me up with.

(I mean, canned tomatoes specifically aren't one of those things. Just a potent reminder that it's everywhere, in everything.)

That sort of turnaround is a marvel to behold. (that was for the Trump mask whiplash tweet, sneaky inbetween posters!)

But what really pisses me off is the people who suddenly realise Trump (and the rest) are bad people when he hurts them in some way. I saw a video of a guy talking about how he had worked for the GOP in some capacity for years in relation to agriculture. He voted for Trump last time, but by golly when Trump fucked the farmers with tariffs he just couldn't take it. I mean, do you know these people are like a cult and won't listen to reason, he says.

They only care when it hurts them. They know Trump will hurt thousands or millions of people, but they just don't give a fuck until it comes around to their turn.

FFS there was a lady actually saying "he's hurting the wrong people". Like she used those words exactly. They just don't care at all about anyone else.

Do you poor white racists think Trump likes you any more than the people of colour? He hates you just as much. He will work to keep you down and bleed you dry just as much. It's insanity and soul destroying.

I actually think Trump looks pretty decent in the mask. It hides his weird jowls and whatever awful expression his mouth is forming. His handlers also picked a mask shape that works on his face, and the solid color with the Presidential seal on the side is a good design. Overall, he looks about as good as he could.

His handlers should have been priming him to wear a mask 4 months ago.

I just got off an emergency meeting of the regional directors of Antifa, and this is a pretty big blow.

If mask wearing were to become a regular thing for Trump, or even worse, for his followers, we'd be in pretty big trouble. We're already looking into finding buyers for our fleet of buses just in case.
