By "scumhunting" do you mean voting for someone and declaring them scum? Who is scumhunting right now in your opinion?

It does seem hypocritical, Deadlokd.
vote Deadlokd until he retracts that statement.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
It's not a matter of whether or not he is joking. I'm just curious why he seems to stress that he doesn't know what he's doing. He's played a couple game before, right?
His vote against Jerome is good gameplay, so I don't understand why he cuts himself short. He's got a pretty good grasp of the game, in my opinion.

I agree with your post, but I think you do not scumhunt much when scum.
You aren't good at making cases. In short, I won't be voting for you currently but I am fosing you.

And Nightson, you are going to have to do better than that...

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
so we just take your word for it. Day one, no night moves, you want people to vote for raven. If it's a scum move it's stupid, if it's a town move it's unfathomable.

the only way you could know anything for sure at this point in the game is if you are scum. So unless you are trying to look scummy right off the bat I think some more explanation is in order.
unvote vote nightson

Vote Nightson, until you can explain your posts here.

Assuming the set of possibilities
I am town and know Raven is scum
I am town and do not know Raven is scum
I am scum and know Raven is town
I am scum and know Raven is scum
Please give what you think is the rough probability of each possibility being true.

we haven't played a game together in quite a while. I think I need to brush up on what your scum game used to look like. I don't remember you making baseless votes that you wouldn't back up when challenged. Not when you were town, anyway.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
0% - unless there were night zero views. Possible I guess.
50% - fishing perhaps.
25% - weird move but what the hell.
25% - sets you up for a free ride through the rest of the game.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
Let's assume for a moment that Nightson is telling the truth.
This means he has or is one of the following or something I haven't thought of yet:
- A N0 view.
- An unconfirmed mason.
- An unconfirmed lover.
- A usurper playing a very early gambit.
Or, he's lying and he:
- Has an ability that empowers him somehow if he is the first to vote for, and/or successfully drives, a lynch.
- Has a "lyncher" type role that compels him to vote for a lynch right away. Another variation is that his win condition is to lynch a certain person, and he will therefore probably start something like this every day until he hits the person he is supposed to hit.
- Is a jester employing a high risk/high reward method to get himself lynched right off the bat.
Any other ideas?

And just to be frank, I'm fine with rooting out whatever it is that gave him this information, since this whole thing is essentially a soft claim. To be flat out frank, soft claim = scum tell, period.
