I had a sleep apnea test once, because my idiot doctor thought, "She's fat. She's snores. Let's make her insurance pay thousands of dollars to prove she doesn't have this problem." I went along with it because I wanted a firm diagnosis of my sleep terrors. It was back when my insurance covered 100% of the costs. I'd never have done it if I had to pay 20%.

IT is justifying their existence by taking my fully functional laptop and "upgrading" the software. Now 3 weeks in I'm slowly getting the last programs upgraded after pieces stopped working. I don't have rights to the PC so every time I run into an issue I can't click install. I submit a ticket and wait. So much for all that programming crap I learned on my own time. I may have to buy an external drive and boot from it to regain control.

Worst part I'm poasting from a phone like I'm a teenager. God how awful this is. From dual wide screen monitors to a 2inch screen and touchpad for my fat fingers.

Well at least I don't have to read a book or talk to someone like we did in the olden days.

I dunno if that's a First World problem, but I imagine that people in the Third World with that problem mostly just have to deal with it.

The automatic lever that pulls my trash bins out from the under-sink cupboard is broken, so now I have to touch the tray that the bins roll out on like I'm in the fucking 50's or something.

And this just hours - hours - before JoeP is coming over, he must secretly think I am such a slob.

I still haven't unpacked the new one, still in shock and denial.

For those not gracious enough to have sent me friend request on Facebook, or who may have missed it - I went to get new pillows from Ikea today. We had tested some for a few months and now I went back for more of the ones we liked. They had STOPPED SELLING THEM. All the pillows were different. I grabbed one that seemed pillow-like as I was there and security was starting to wonder about the crazy lady searching frantically through the entire soft furnishing department over and over. But I shall have to restart my pillow research from scratch.

Stupid driveway sealer. 1 bucket covers 500 sq. feet? My ass it does!

Also, stupid earth's rotation turned The Sun away over the horizon before I could finish sealing said driveway. So now I'll have to finish it tomorrow.

EVERY TIME I opened the trashbin cupboard I was taken by surprise by this.

The peaches at my work are so juicy that it is impossible to eat one without sounding like a slurpy little piggy and making a sticky mess. But they are way too delicious not to eat. It's like Sophie's choice up in here.

I was just lining up for the photo--the last step in getting my GA driver's license after a 45 minute wait--when the DDS had a brief power outtage that reset all the systems. Now it looks like it'll be at least 15 minutes more. What's worse is that I had to DRIVE like 5 minutes to Subway to get my cheap, delicious breakfast sandwich and flavored coffee while I waited. Like a refugee.

Speaking of which, I need to register something at the DMV.

The last time I went in all the counters were open and it took 15 minutes to get to someone. But this time I may not be able to get there at 8:30 am and might have to go in closer to noon.

At noon you have to go with the people who use their lunch breaks because they don't have flexible work environments. I've learn to avoid that because those people are unhappy and many are dirty.

Why can't there be an express lane for people with nicer cars who pay more taxes. Like Disney does.

Hmmmph. :glare:

"Peaches"

Quote:
Movin' to the country,
gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country,
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country,
gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country,
gonna eat a lot of peaches

Peaches come from a can,
they were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way,
I'd eat peaches every day
Sun-soakin' bulges in the shade

Take a little nap where the roots all twist
Squished a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you, woman,
I poked my finger down inside
Make a little room for an ant to hide
Nature's candy in my hand or can or a pie

Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free

Look out!

Finally gave in and bought a smart phone today and it's been a pain in the ass to set up. Worst of all, it won't play any of the music I ripped from library CD because of bullshit DRM. I actually had to buy Casino Royale for my ringtone, like a peasant!
